📋 Description

• Answer a high volume of incoming patient calls • Accurately schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments • Manage patient requests while providing a high level of customer service and confidentiality • Handle work assignments from multiple electronic platforms accurately and timely • Greet callers promptly, courteously, and professionally • Screen calls and accurately document messages while maintaining confidentiality • Operate multiple computer applications simultaneously and efficiently • Work toward department call and productivity metrics • Maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, the public, coworkers, and interdepartmental staff • Participate in orienting and training new staff • Apply Lower Lights Christian Health Center policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • Ability to read, write, and understand English and Spanish fluently (required) • Knowledge of professional office practices and procedures • Ability to type and general computer navigation (required) • At least one year's customer service experience required, preferably in a call-center environment • Strong attention to detail • Effective time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently • Professional and respectful behavior with coworkers • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel preferred • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
