📋 Description

• Lead agile software development efforts as a Technical Leader • Respond to audits and contribute to the RFP process • Ensure data governance and best practices are embraced • Align business and IT strategy with desired outcomes • Perform hands-on data and integration engineering, including writing quality code • Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and coaching • Define improvements to increase system reliability, security, and performance • Create rich data visualizations and present value-adds to senior management • Potentially manage a team • Define strategic IT objectives and lead subordinates toward product strategy • Act as the primary focal point for internal and external customers on software development tasks • Estimate task feasibility, time, and effort • Provide updates to user communities and programmers • Monitor projects, identify potential problems, and guide projects to successful completion • Assign and monitor work across programmers, analysts, project managers, supervisors, and managers • Ensure policies and procedures are followed • Assist with budget preparation and management • Mentor and evaluate staff performance • Continue hands-on programming and analysis work • Track project requests and regularly update project status • Estimate work effort for new project requests • Plan development and support for a functional systems area • Review subordinate staff work and prepare performance reports • Participate in planning and budgeting

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience • Minimum 3–4 years designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, secure IT software • IT work experience • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and work experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science listed as required education • Agile and Design Thinking training through Coursera • Critical-thinking ability • Demonstrated problem-solving techniques • Strong verbal and written communication skills • AWS Certified • Big Data/Hadoop Certified • ServiceNow training • Ability to understand business and IT strategy in the context of applications • Ability to write quality code and perform data and integration engineering • Ability to work with data governance, system reliability, security, and performance
