📋 Description

• Provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations • Provide one-on-one counseling and consultations with commanders, providers, staff, and other stakeholders • Conduct briefings, presentations, classes, seminars, and personal financial management workshops • Provide referral resources outside counseling sessions • Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure the program meets installation needs • Help service members establish spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Provide age-appropriate classes and seminars on financial topics across the military lifecycle • Deliver virtual counseling through secure online chat, web-based, video, or secure video teleconference methods when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share trends and issues from assigned installations • Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; an associate degree plus 4 years' experience or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Bilingual English and Spanish may be required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process • Must hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
