📋 Description

• Provide coverage in short-term, surge, and on-demand situations arising from military needs • Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families at military installations • Conduct one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings, presentations, and referrals • Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure program scope and installation needs are met • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars • Use virtual counseling and secure electronic communication methods when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share trends and issues from assigned installations • Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, or associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Able to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process • Must hold one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
