Maliasili is a public charity that strengthens community-led conservation organizations across Africa by providing organizational development, leadership programs, funding facilitation, advocacy, and consulting. It partners with a carefully selected portfolio of local NGOs to help them develop strategies, attract funding, build leadership and communications capacity, and amplify their influence so they can better protect land, wildlife, and livelihoods while addressing climate and ecosystem health. Maliasili also publishes toolkits and learning resources, operates a conservation fund, and works with strategic partners to shift resources and power toward local conservation leaders.
