It partners with a carefully selected portfolio of local NGOs to help them develop strategies, attract funding, build leadership and communications capacity, and amplify their influence so they can better protect land, wildlife, and livelihoods while addressing climate and ecosystem health. Maliasili also publishes toolkits and learning resources, operates a conservation fund, and works with strategic partners to shift resources and power toward local conservation leaders.

📋 Description

• Coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of partner funding across CAF, from pipeline tracking through grant issuance and reporting • Maintain real-time overviews of partner funding needs, commitments, timelines, grant status, reporting progress, and partner coverage • Track grant agreements, reporting deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements • Prepare and coordinate grant letters, agreements, and related documentation • Ensure partner grant files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready • Maintain, improve, and document internal systems, trackers, SOPs, templates, workflows, guidance notes, and process documentation • Identify operational gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and implement solutions • Support integration of fundraising, grantmaking, and reporting systems across CAF, FAD, and MEL • Consolidate and maintain accurate partner funding data, including brokered, influenced, and directly managed funding • Prepare data inputs for decision-making, leadership updates, donor reporting, and Board discussions • Support due diligence, grant review processes, donor reports, funding summaries, and partner data synthesis • Coordinate CAF internal processes and support planning and logistics for convenings, workshops, and internal engagements • Track actions, decisions, and follow-up items across CAF meetings and workstreams • Build internal visibility and understanding of CAF work through clear systems, cadence, and communication

🎯 Requirements

• Strong operational excellence, process management, and systems development capabilities • Ability to coordinate partner funding and grantmaking processes end to end • Ability to maintain accurate funding data, dashboards, trackers, and information systems • Knowledge of grant agreements, reporting deadlines, renewals, compliance, and audit-ready documentation • Ability to develop SOPs, templates, workflows, guidance notes, and internal tools • Ability to support due diligence, grant reviews, donor reporting, and funding summaries • Ability to integrate fundraising, grantmaking, reporting, and MEL systems • Ability to coordinate across CAF, FAD, Portfolio, MEL, Comms, and Finance teams • Strong internal coordination, documentation, follow-up, and communication capabilities
