📋 Description

• Source and conduct due diligence on assigned public-market asset classes and categories • Produce the quarterly Manager Monitor for EIPC meetings • Develop and maintain a focus list of recommended investment strategies for institutional and wealth clients • Collaborate with advisors on search books for new manager allocations and replacements • Develop primers and educational presentations • Present updates, recommendations, and new ideas to the Enterprise Investment Policy Committee monthly or as needed • Conduct annual asset-class reviews • Identify short- to intermediate-term tactical investment opportunities outside traditional asset allocation • Attend client meetings to support asset-class education, manager interviews, and strategy placements • Provide peer reviews and collaborate on strategy recommendations within The Research Group • Assist with new-client onboarding through portfolio and investment-strategy reviews and roadmap development • Keep Mariner service teams informed about clients’ investment managers • Lead the open investment RFP process for larger relationships within assigned asset classes • Attend and present at conferences as needed • Support special projects and new-business presentations • Mentor research associates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university • Minimum of five years’ investment strategy due diligence experience (preferred) • MBA and/or CFA charter (preferred) • Experience with Morningstar Direct and eVestment Alliance (preferred) • Experience with LLMs to enhance research due diligence processes (preferred) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized self-starter and effective multi-tasker • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to regularly sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a PC, communicate, listen, and assess information • Ability to travel to other locations and occasionally lift 10–15 pounds • Distant, close, and color vision, with ability to adjust focus • Legal authorization to work in the United States is addressed in the application
