📋 Description

• Drive and manage formal review processes for external customer marketing content and campaigns, including advertisements, promotional content, digital media, social media, and product information • Coordinate with Legal, Marketing, and other departments to obtain approvals and feedback • Provide compliance advisory support to Product, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and other departments throughout product and campaign lifecycles • Apply knowledge of consumer finance regulations, industry standards, and internal policies across the US and Canada • Monitor and assess industry trends and the regulatory environment to help shape compliance strategy • Assist with regulatory responses and other compliance advisory duties • Maintain awareness of compliance risks associated with client-specific product constructs • Maintain strong relationships and coordinated efforts with banking partners and Marqeta customers • Report to and support the Senior Compliance Manager as part of Marqeta’s consumer compliance program

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory marketing compliance in banking, financial services, or fintech • Proven experience with consumer protection regulations such as UDAP/UDAAP, Reg Z, Reg E, and Reg B • Experience with advertising standards and industry best practices • Proven experience with Banking as a Service for or with a regulated bank, Program Manager, or similar organization • Strong knowledge of bank and/or payments financial ecosystems • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration • Strong organizational and project management abilities • Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset • Hands-on approach with a concise and straightforward style • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment • Ability to prioritize competing priorities logically • Ability to manage a small team of resources • Nice-to-have: experience supporting bank partnerships, audits, and examinations • Nice-to-have: experience with collateral review systems/tools such as Blee, Workfront, or Red Oak • Nice-to-have: CRCM designation or similar compliance designation
