📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring proper coding compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to coding guidelines and regulations. • Assign appropriate diagnosis codes (ICD-10) and procedure codes (CPT/HCPCS) to patient encounters based on medical documentation. • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines. • Analyze medical records for coding purposes. • Maintain accuracy in coding assignments for proper reimbursement. • Support coding compliance efforts. • Maintain records of coding activities.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required • Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) required • 2-3 years of Medical Coding Experience Required • EPIC Experience Preferred • Knowledge of Physical Medicine and Rehab, Hematology Oncology, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Hospitalists, Pulmonary and/or Behavioral Medicine
