📋 Description

• Decide where equipment goes across the site portfolio, balancing power and cooling headroom, rack density, customer adjacency, deployment speed, and site strategy • Track every shipment from purchase order through production, including ordering, transit, receipt, staging, racking, cabling, burn-in, and acceptance • Coordinate deployments and redeployments across facilities, networking, storage, and platform teams • Move capacity between sites as demand or economics change • Drive hardware failures through vendor and depot warranty and RMA processes to resolution • Track vendor obligations and hold vendors accountable to commitments • Select, implement, and maintain the fleet asset and inventory system of record • Establish reconciliation practices to keep infrastructure records accurate • Design reporting on equipment arrivals, capacity releases, and operational risks • Provide solutions engineering with an accurate view of customer-commitment capacity and timelines • Manage integrators, remote-hands providers, and logistics partners, including relationships, SLAs, and escalation paths • Investigate deployment delays and missing hardware, identify root causes, and improve processes • Use AI tools to automate tracking, reporting, vendor follow-up, and documentation • Build a trusted view of hardware ownership and state, reduce time from arrival to earning, and establish a self-maintaining infrastructure planning system

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in supply chain management, analytics, or logistics • Track record of accurately tracking physical assets at scale • Working fluency in data center fundamentals, including racks, power, cooling, cabling, and density • Experience coordinating work across organizations and with vendors • Strong personal organization and ability to manage many parallel workstreams • Strong written communication • High ownership and follow-through • Fluency with AI tools and interest in automating operations work • Typically 3–8+ years of professional experience in data center operations, infrastructure deployment, hardware or IT asset management, supply chain and logistics operations, technical program management, or a similar high-responsibility role • Experience in a high-growth technology company, rapidly scaling startup, infrastructure operator, or similarly demanding environment • Hands-on experience with hardware deployment lifecycles, including receiving, installation, commissioning, failure, RMA, redeployment, and decommissioning • Experience implementing or materially rebuilding an asset management, inventory, or DCIM system • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is listed in the desired background • Experience with GPU infrastructure is a bonus • Experience managing deployments across multiple sites or colocation providers is a bonus • Experience managing warranty and RMA processes at volume is a bonus • Experience building internal tooling or automation is a bonus • Fluency with Claude, Claude Code, Codex, and related workflow automation tools is a bonus
