• Develop and support secure digital solutions for Matrix's commercial and federal clients, including the Department of War • Translate client requirements into applications, automated workflows, integrations, dashboards, and collaboration tools • Contribute throughout the software delivery lifecycle and deliver reliable, well-documented solutions on time and within budget • Support continuous process improvement and business process reengineering through process mapping, data collection, analysis, visualization, and digital-solution development • Support proposal development with content for approaches, schedules, and other assigned sections • Support project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, team organization, prioritization, quality assurance, invoicing, reports, technical documents, presentations, and project deliverables • Meet with clients and representatives to present results, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain relationships • Plan and facilitate virtual and in-person stakeholder engagements focused on visioning, brainstorming, and solving complex challenges • Develop, test, deploy, document, and sustain secure applications, automated workflows, dashboards, portals, and collaboration solutions under senior technical leadership • Participate in discovery, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment, and retirement using Agile practices • Use Azure DevOps, Git, code reviews, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipelines • Develop front-end and back-end features using C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Python • Configure Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio, with SharePoint Online and Power BI • Develop SQL Server structures and queries and build REST APIs and integrations • Contribute to scalable enterprise solutions supporting more than 100 users and multiple business functions • Apply application security, Zero Trust, identity and access management, data governance, and CUI-protection practices • Evaluate approved AI-assisted development tools and contribute to secure AI-enabled business solutions • Troubleshoot issues, perform quality checks, maintain documentation, support user acceptance and training, and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Provide peer support, participate in code reviews, and help onboard new team members; no direct supervisory responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible software or application-development experience • Experience participating in delivery from requirements and design through deployment and sustainment • Demonstrated experience delivering business applications, automated workflows, custom forms, systems integrations, dashboards, or enterprise collaboration portals • Practical experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting business applications in a team environment • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline development • Proficiency with modern application-development frameworks, integration patterns, APIs, front-end and back-end technologies, and cloud-native architectures • Experience with two or more of C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and Python • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate • Experience with SQL Server, data structures, REST APIs, and systems integration • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, application governance, development standards, platform lifecycle management, SSDLC, application security, Zero Trust, identity and access management, and protection of CUI • Interest or experience in AI-assisted development tools and secure AI-enabled business solutions • Ability to work effectively in Scrum or Kanban teams, communicate clearly with clients and teammates, and manage competing priorities • Ability to travel to project sites or other Matrix offices as needed • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; a current clearance is a plus • Valid driver's license and successful completion of the Company's MVR screening • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer or Azure Developer Associate; Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist; CompTIA Security+ or Palantir Certification
