📋 Description

• Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with huge data sets • Apply data mining, NLP, and supervised and unsupervised machine learning to improve relevance and personalization algorithms • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and designers to design experiments and minimum viable products • Discover, access, import, clean, and prepare data sources for modeling • Create and refine features from underlying data • Run A/B tests, perform statistical analysis, determine optimization impact, and communicate results • Evaluate new design and technology shifts for potential customer benefits • Collect, validate, clean, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including HPDMS • Conduct exploratory, statistical, and predictive analyses related to human performance and mission readiness • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, reports, and automated dashboards • Support survey design, administration, analysis, and interpretation • Collaborate with program staff, biostatisticians, clinicians, and cross-functional partners to translate findings into recommendations • Develop, document, and refine analytical methods, models, and tools for operational and health-related challenges • Present findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders while protecting sensitive information • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field • Active Secret security clearance • U.S. citizenship • 1–3+ years applying quantitative research, machine learning, and/or deep learning to optimize human decisions • 1+ years using machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras • Knowledge of algorithms including CNN, GAN, LSTM, RNN, and XGBOOST • 1+ years of data engineering experience with Hadoop, SQL, HIVE, Spark, Snowflake, or similar technologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • 1+ years programming in Python, Scala, or Julia • Working knowledge of cloud-based data storage and compute environments such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Databricks, or GCP AI Platform • Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis tools, database systems, and data visualization platforms • Experience preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets • Ability to communicate technical findings to diverse technical and nontechnical audiences • Experience supporting government, defense, military health, or human performance programs preferred • Experience developing automated dashboards, predictive models, or decision-support tools • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security, and quality-control practices • Familiarity with multidisciplinary health, performance, or readiness data • Experience deploying ML models with MLOps a plus • Agile delivery experience a plus • PowerBI experience a plus • Demonstrated leadership, self-direction, and willingness to teach and learn
