📋 Description

• Update facility billing information • Request claims and processing payment • Ensure VES payments have been posted • Confirm zero balances on patients’ accounts • Mail zero-balance letters to veterans or request facilities to mail them • Process payments to facilities according to contracted rates • Answer internal and external calls about claim status and billed veteran issues • Communicate with facilities to obtain outstanding or current claims • Conduct outbound outreach to medical facilities to clarify billing requirements • Coordinate reassignment of invoices to VES • Verify accounts are updated and closed appropriately • Maintain a daily log of follow-ups • Prioritize cases based on urgency • Provide veterans with confirmation of resolution

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • One to two years related experience in insurance or medical billing • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder • Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US • Must be willing and able to work the training schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CT, Monday-Friday, for up to 3 weeks, with no planned absences • Internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher • Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet connectivity to the home router • Private work area and adequate power source • Must use company-provided equipment
