📋 Description

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, grounding, and specialty systems for Federal, DoD, and facility-based projects • Perform engineering analysis, calculations, evaluations, and system modeling • Prepare construction documents, engineering reports, specifications, and technical design packages • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop coordinated and constructible design solutions • Research and evaluate products and equipment • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines • Assist with site investigations, field assessments, construction support, and commissioning activities • Review project requirements and technical standards for compliance with applicable codes and Federal agency criteria • Support proposal development, qualifications packages, and technical presentations • Utilize Revit, BIM platforms, and industry-standard electrical analysis software • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, designers, and CAD technicians • Travel occasionally for project meetings, site visits, and client engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering emphasis • 5+ years of related electrical engineering experience • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • U.S. Citizenship required • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills • Understanding of building systems and coordination among design disciplines, clients, and construction teams • Experience with electrical engineering software such as SKM, EasyPower, AGi32, or ElumTools • Familiarity with Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint • Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and schedule commitments
