📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for enterprise IT and cloud environments • Provide technical expertise in security architecture, security engineering, and cloud security across the system lifecycle • Translate customer, mission, and cybersecurity requirements into actionable technical and engineering requirements • Support and manage IT and cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, integration, and implementation efforts • Evaluate system architectures and technical solutions to identify cybersecurity risks, security gaps, and improvement opportunities • Develop and recommend security architecture and engineering solutions aligned with federal cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices • Support federal Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities • Implement and assess cybersecurity requirements according to RMF and FedRAMP • Support development, implementation, and assessment of security controls across traditional and cloud-based environments • Develop and maintain technical and security documentation for system authorization and compliance activities • Collaborate with government stakeholders, system owners, architects, engineers, developers, and cybersecurity personnel • Identify, analyze, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and technical security risks • Ensure systems align with applicable federal cybersecurity policies, processes, standards, and frameworks • Provide technical guidance and cybersecurity engineering recommendations to project teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders • Support continuous improvement of security architecture, system resilience, compliance, and cybersecurity posture

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Information Security experience, including at least 1 year of Cybersecurity and Cloud Security experience supporting a large government agency comparable in size and scope to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA • Demonstrated expertise in security architecture and security engineering • Experience with project management and translating customer requirements into technical requirements • Experience managing or supporting IT and cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation efforts • Expertise with cybersecurity and security solutions within federal and/or commercial environments • Experience supporting federal Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, engineering, and authorization requirements, including FedRAMP and RMF • Strong understanding of applicable federal cybersecurity policies, processes, standards, and frameworks • Ability to evaluate complex technical environments, identify security risks, and develop practical engineering solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust clearance • Bachelor’s degree in business administration - Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or a related field • Certification in one or more of IAT Level III, IAM Level III, or IASAE Level III • IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III certification may be substituted for the relevant bachelor’s degree requirement or four years of relevant experience, as permitted by the position requirements
