📋 Description

• Partner with team members, mentor junior teammates, and enable growth of the Manufacturing Intelligence team • Lead Data Science implementations and drive innovation • Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement • Build client relationships within project frameworks • Utilize Agile project delivery methodologies • Implement scalable and efficient technical architectures to satisfy client requirements • Perform hands-on implementations of Microsoft data solutions for current and future customers and projects • Leverage Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Power BI • Extract insights from large datasets and develop data-driven solutions • Lead end-to-end data science projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Build predictive models and analytical solutions • Apply statistical and machine learning methods to complex datasets • Develop algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios and future outcomes • Analyze structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems • Deliver actionable guidance and recommendations to stakeholders • Act as a subject matter expert on produced solutions and help clients understand their data • Participate in data capture strategies to improve automation, data quality, and analytics capabilities • Run ad-hoc data extracts and automate recurring requests • Manage and prioritize multiple complex projects, including requirements, goals, timelines, status, and deliverables • Meet with clients to determine needs and identify problem areas • Develop Statements of Work and proposals when required • Stay current with architectural and industry changes • Improve team processes and ensure best practices and business objectives are achieved

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with data science, AI, and big data • Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience developing and owning production-level models using various data sets • Experience shipping models to production and ensuring continuous availability via measurements and tools such as statistical process control • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements • Experience with Python, R, Scala, Spark, and/or T-SQL • Extensive experience connecting to data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, NoSQL databases, and APIs • Ability to set up data and experimental platforms • Experience working on projects involving large volumes of data, preferably in the Manufacturing industry • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, active listening, communication, storytelling, and visualization skills • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties • Attention to detail and end-to-end ownership of deliverables • Must be open to approximately 10% travel on an as-needed basis
