📋 Description

• Interpret clinical trial protocols from a financial perspective • Develop clinical trial budgets • Create new budgets in Excel using Sarah Cannon cost and charge information • Analyze clinical trial protocols and provide detailed counteroffers to Sponsors’ initial budgets • Negotiate budgets with Sponsors/CROs to achieve favorable results for Sarah Cannon • Establish and maintain business relationships for future negotiations • Maintain and communicate status updates for assigned budgets to executive management • Communicate with clinical staff, management, and others to clarify protocol specifics, standard of care, billable items, and other budget-related nuances • Present budget proposals to executive management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required • At least 1 year of work experience utilizing basic financial principles, Microsoft Excel, and other data management tools • At least 1 year of experience in budget negotiation • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and other complex formulas • Familiarity with clinical research and/or medical terminology • Functional knowledge of clinical trials preferred • Analytical decision-making skills • Project management capabilities • Strong negotiation and professional communication skills • Must be based in the US • Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available
