📋 Description

• Provide high-quality service to patients, providers, pharmaceutical company representatives, and healthcare service companies for specialty prescription drugs • Coordinate services and collect patient-specific clinical data and interactions • Ensure adherence to physician treatment programs and drug regimens • Follow up with physicians and patients regarding compliance and persistence with treatment protocols • Coordinate drug shipments and patient training among patients, physician offices, and specialty pharmacies • Provide medical information to providers and patients for services required by program protocols • Advocate for patients with compassion • Work independently and as part of a cohesive team • Maintain regular contact with patients, physician offices, payers, and pharmaceutical company representatives • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Vocational or technical training is required • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is required • Recent graduates are welcome to apply • Case management and/or case coordination experience essential for program protocols • Knowledge of medical terminology • Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-9 coding • Strong organizational skills • Clear written and oral communication skills • Accurate data entry skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks • Strong computer skills, preferably Microsoft Word or Excel • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to resolve problems independently • Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions • Adaptability to changing priorities • Ability to correctly input data into a computer • Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person, by telephone, or through correspondence • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service call center environment
