• Review and analyze mortgage surveys for compliance with legal and industry standards • Verify accuracy and completeness of survey data, including boundaries and dimensions • Identify errors or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions • Communicate with field crews, drafters, and stakeholders to clarify information and resolve discrepancies • Prepare final reports summarizing survey findings and conclusions • Provide technical assistance and guidance to drafters and departmental staff • Stay current with industry and legal standards related to land surveying and mortgage review • Collaborate with departments on process improvements and cost savings
• Indiana Licensed Surveyor • Ability to obtain licensure in Ohio within 6 months • Bachelor's degree in land surveying, geomatics, or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying • At least 2 years of experience in mortgage survey review and analysis • Proficiency with modern surveying tools and software, including AutoCAD, GPS, and Total Stations • Strong understanding of land surveying principles, boundary law, and construction layout • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
