📋 Description

• Provide Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) support for MD&A customer projects • Complete safety walk-downs or evaluations at outages or shops when unassigned • Assist with company-wide training and other safety projects • Facilitate implementation of customer requirements, MD&A Outage Safety Expectations, and project-specific safety plans • Coordinate and communicate with customer EHS representatives and customer site points of contact • Observe projects and identify and eliminate hazards to workers or property • Assist with onboarding project personnel, including subcontractors, and facilitate drug-testing requirements • Implement and record pre-task briefs and task safety briefings • Conduct and record weekly safety evaluations • Investigate incident reports and treat and report first aids • Monitor and authorize confined-space entries • Conduct safety training, including overhead crane and forklift qualifications • Attend customer safety and pre-project meetings • Conduct instructor-led safety courses during training events • Assist with EHS evaluations, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety • CHST or the ability to obtain the CHST in the first 90 days of employment • Knowledge of complicated rigging, scaffolding, confined space entry, mechanical systems, and industrial tooling • Prefer exposure to or knowledge of Human and Organization Performance improvement • Continuous improvement mindset • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Requires time away from home for up to 8 months
