• Primarily responsible for handling and investigating high exposure third party property damage and bodily injury claims on a multi-state basis. • Work efficiently and effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys and outside vendors to confirm coverage, determine liability and evaluate damages through timely and diligent claim investigations. • Candidates who hold multi-state licenses; at a minimum the candidate must hold a valid Texas license with the ability to quickly secure reciprocal licenses in other states. • Requires a high level of personal motivation and self-discipline and the ability to work independently with minimum amount of direct supervision. • Provide excellent customer service. • Analyze and apply coverage on both routine and complex claims. • Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner. • Set and maintain diaries. • Complete client reporting timely. • Control loss adjustment expenses, recommend and manage reserves. • Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims system. • Notify management of any situations which may affect the underlying claim.
• Prefer minimum of 3 years commercial transportation experience • Superior report writing skills • Strong Time Management skills • Effective Communicator • Holds a valid Texas all lines license (Florida, New Mexico, and other licenses a plus) • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Have above average computer skills • Team player • Litigation Experience is required • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
