📋 Description

• Process calls and generate reports from Medcor Telehealth Triage clients, supervisors, or injured workers when triage is not required • Answer inbound employee and supervisor injury report calls in a fast-paced remote call center environment • Immediately transfer calls requiring triage to the appropriate triage queue • Follow standard operating procedures and client-specific directives • Gather and document demographic and incident information • Enter accurate information into Medcor’s proprietary Triage software application • Follow Medcor’s proprietary algorithms and complete application forms and fields • Use professional phone etiquette and customer service skills to support client satisfaction and retention • Assist callers with problem-solving related to their calls • Communicate clearly, ask appropriate questions, and clarify information • Read and apply client-specific directives throughout the call process • Collect and input data elements supporting documentation and reports • Follow HIPAA compliance policies to protect confidentiality • Maintain personal schedule adherence and accurately record shift activities using the phone system • Monitor performance dashboard metrics and participate in coaching sessions • Comply with departmental call processing, attendance, adherence, and quality standards • Complete annual or monthly MedcorU assignments, including compliance modules, training bulletins, and staff meeting newsletters • Complete projects and duties delegated by the Operations Manager or Director • Support Medcor’s core values and culture • Attend meetings requested by leadership or Learning and Development teams

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • At least two years of customer service or client relations experience is preferred • Basic understanding of occupational job processes and potential injuries as it relates to various industries is helpful • Proficient at data entry with speed and accuracy while listening and engaging in conversation • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute • PC proficiency required • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to maintain a high-speed, hard-wired internet connection at advocate residence meeting Medcor IT specifications • Excellent verbal/phone skills • Strong work ethic • Working knowledge or background in any medical field strongly preferred but not required • Comfortable working in a call center environment with minimal oversight or direct interaction with coworkers • Excellent verbal/written communication skills • Bilingual Spanish is not required • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, day/evening eight- or ten-hour shifts between 8a-7p, with alternating weekends • HIPAA compliance
