📋 Description

• Provide clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to existing and potential customers • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide customer training at all levels • Coordinate and collaborate with NRCs and Surgical Synergy team members on customer installations • Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures and provide technical assistance • Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance • Install software and hardware upgrades and perform preventative maintenance • Provide telephone clinical support and act as primary customer liaison for repair and technical support issues • Track customer calls and issues and provide timely information to district teams • Report complaints and partner with CSM/NRCs to ensure resolution • File weekly site visit and customer contact reports • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters • Serve as a clinical resource for surgeons, clinicians, and trainees • Provide customer tips, shortcuts, and suggestions • Participate in customer training for internal and external partners • Train hospital staff and Surgical Synergy Clinical Support team members • Identify prospective new users for Navigation and Robotics • Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows • Submit reports and information as directed • Support complex new image-guided products and applications • Collaborate with the Surgical Synergy Region Manager and CSM on customer support priorities • Provide input on new product development based on field experience • Document new and existing installations • Adhere to company policies and conduct business ethically

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside within the assigned territory • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; or Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of such experience; or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of such experience • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level • Ability to use healthcare universal precautions and minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation • Ability to serve as the primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including periodic weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside clinical events • Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings, and training • Ability to wear a 7–9 lb protective lead apron for extended periods in the operating room • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend/stoop, squat, and balance frequently • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and take overnight travel as needed • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • RT and/or MRI certification preferred • Prior Image Guided Systems experience preferred • Prior MRI experience preferred • Operating room experience preferred
