📋 Description

• Provide clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to existing and potential customers • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide customer training • Coordinate and collaborate with NRCs and Surgical Synergy team members for customer installations • Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures and provide technical assistance • Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance • Install software and hardware upgrades and perform preventative maintenance • Provide telephone clinical support and technical support for repair issues • Act as primary Medtronic customer liaison for repair and technical support issues • Provide district teams with information about customer concerns, issues, and market opportunities • Report complaints and partner with CSM/NRCs to ensure resolution • File weekly site visit and customer contact reports • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technology-enabled procedures • Serve as a clinical resource for surgeons, clinicians, and trainees • Conduct customer training and train-the-trainer programs • Train Surgical Synergy Clinical Support team members on current procedures and technologies • Identify prospective new Navigation and Robotics users with NRCs, Spinal Sales, and NS Representatives • Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows • Support complex new image-guided products and applications • Document new and existing installations • Collaborate with the Surgical Synergy Region Manager and CSM to prioritize technical support and service goals • Provide input on new product development based on field experience • Adhere to company policies, Quality System, BCS requirements, and ethical standards

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside within the assigned territory • High School Diploma or GED and minimum 6 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; or Associate’s Degree and minimum 4 years of such experience; or Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of such experience • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire and throughout employment • Ability to use healthcare universal precautions and minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation • Ability to serve as primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including periodic weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside clinical events • Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings, and training • Ability to wear a 7–9 lb protective lead apron for extended periods in the operating room • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend/stoop, squat, and balance frequently • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Must drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • RT and/or MRI certification preferred • Prior Image Guided Systems experience preferred • Prior MRI experience preferred • Operating room experience preferred
