• Partner with Operating Units, Convention Specialists, and Finance stakeholders to develop annual convention budgets • Maintain forecasting models, monitor spending, support accrual activities, and identify budget risks and savings opportunities • Reconcile expenses, validate cost allocations, analyze variances, and ensure accurate reporting to appropriate cost centers • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated reporting solutions, KPI reporting, and executive-level analytics • Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Apps, Glean, and other analytics and automation tools to improve reporting and workflows • Identify data discrepancies and enhance data integrity • Serve as primary liaison between Operating Units and convention stakeholders • Facilitate budget discussions, gather requirements, communicate financial performance, and adapt communication approaches • Lead vendor performance management, including SLA monitoring, vendor scorecards, business reviews, compliance support, performance tracking, and cost-savings analysis • Support convention operations through project timeline management, planning documentation, invoice processing, data governance, and cross-functional process execution • Contribute to process standardization, documentation, automation, stakeholder training, and implementation of new technologies and reporting capabilities
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, budget management, project management, sales operations, event operations, or related analytical business functions; or Advanced Degree with 0 years of related experience • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, complex formulas, data validation techniques, and analysis of large datasets • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, accrual processes, or business performance analytics • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Glean, or similar platforms • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate data-driven insights, support decision-making, and manage competing priorities • U.S. work authorization must be unrestricted at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered below Principal level • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in a related analytical business function • Preferred: Experience supporting convention, tradeshow, meeting, event, or commercial operations programs • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, workflow automation tools, or AI-enabled reporting solutions • Preferred: Experience managing vendor relationships, supplier performance programs, SLAs, or contract compliance • Preferred: Experience with SAP, ReadSoft, Workfront, or similar systems • Preferred: Experience implementing scalable reporting, analytics, or operational solutions
