📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day field clinical study support, technical support, education support, and site management for Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies clinical programs • Promote clinical programs through investigator education, new-technology education, and case support to achieve safe patient outcomes and company objectives • Conduct on-site education and consulting • Support field personnel in delivering customer outcomes and service • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute enrollment plans • Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness • Provide customer case and education support with Therapy Development Management • Identify and execute growth opportunities with the Clinical Support Team • Serve as a technical resource for medical products and solutions • Support Intrepid TMVR/TTVR device preparation and clinical study procedures • Provide device and system troubleshooting and support device suitability and patient selection • Provide imaging expertise involving echocardiography, angiography, and CT • Relay clinical-site product feedback to engineering and support research and development • Develop and maintain customer relationships and enrollment support with assigned clinical sites • Coordinate patient screening and enrollment materials with review committees and sponsors • Coordinate product shipping and returns between internal and external customers • Assist in developing and delivering physician and research-coordinator training • Conduct or coordinate hands-on, didactic, case-study, in-service, seminar, and symposium training • Train customer sites and internal Medtronic employees on product-related technical matters • Provide training and resources for procedure certification and activation

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/degree and minimum 8 years of clinical support experience, or Associate degree and minimum 6 years, or Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years, or Advanced degree and minimum 2 years • Clinical support experience such as field clinical specialist, clinical engineer, or relevant hospital experience • Ability to travel approximately 75%, including international travel and overnight stays • Ability to work in Cath Labs or Operating Rooms with radiation exposure • Ability to work outside typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule • Ability to lift 20 pounds • Extended computer-based work capability • Hearing, sight, and speaking ability • Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programming • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Ability to sit and stand for 8 hours per day • Ability to wear a lead apron for 2–3 hours on average • Comfort working in clinical environments with potential infectious disease, radiation, and blood-borne pathogen exposure • Must wear required personal protective equipment • Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy • Driving record subject to review • For foreign baccalaureate degrees, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization for the duration of employment, subject to Medtronic’s Principal-level sponsorship policy • Preferred: 3+ years of Structural Heart industry field experience • Preferred: echocardiographic imaging experience involving mitral or tricuspid valves • Preferred: CT segmentation and analysis software experience, such as 3Mensio • Preferred: trans-septal procedure experience, including TMVR or LAAC • Preferred: clinical research experience coordinating multi-center trials or significant structural-heart technical expertise • Preferred: experience presenting, writing, and teaching clinical and medical information • Preferred: group presentation and hands-on interventional/surgical cardiac procedure experience • Preferred: Good Clinical Practice and/or clinical-trial regulatory compliance experience • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project or similar scheduling software • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
