• Serve as a driving force for lean transformation and operational excellence across the organization • Act as an internal consultant using Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization expertise • Assess current practices and identify opportunities for scalable solutions that enhance capacity, quality, and cost efficiency • Facilitate cross-functional workshops • Develop and track key performance metrics • Communicate progress from operators to executive leadership • Deliver training and mentor colleagues • Leverage best practices to influence change and foster continuous improvement • Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma • Diagram and evaluate existing processes • Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams • Develop metrics for process measurement and identify future improvement opportunities • Collect data to identify root causes of problems • Measure performance against process requirements and align improvements to performance shortfalls • Consult on re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality • Deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control • Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes • Communicate team progress • Perform cost and benefit analyses
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience • 3+ years of dedicated Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence (OpEx) implementation experience • Experience leading transactional and business process improvement initiatives across functions such as distribution centers, supply chain, quality, finance, operations, HR, or shared services • Advanced Lean or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt, Master Black Belt) • Previous consulting experience in operational excellence or process transformation • Demonstrated success leading projects in highly regulated industries • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Minitab) • Change management certification or significant experience with organizational change initiatives • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for executive and frontline audiences • Experience developing and delivering training for Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies • Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, due to international travel and cross-border collaboration • Familiarity with digital transformation, Industry 4.0, or advanced manufacturing technologies • Track record of mentoring or coaching other process improvement professionals • Experience with succession planning and talent development • Strong financial acumen, including cost/benefit analysis and budget management • High adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
