• Serve as the clinical expert for Medtronic’s Acute Care & Monitoring Operating Room portfolio in ICU, OR, and NICU/PICU environments • Lead clinical and selling activities for INVOS, BIS, and ARGOS technologies with regional sales teams • Conduct pre-sale clinical demonstrations and product evaluations • Lead post-sale implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support • Develop clinical champions, Key Opinion Leaders, reference accounts, and development partners • Build territory strategies and business plans using Salesforce.com and Sales Analytics • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Sales Leaders, Sales Partners, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and R&D • Educate the organization on critical-care trends and customer needs • Develop and share organizational best practices as an OR/NICU clinical subject matter expert • Provide input into sales materials, customer presentations, education plans, and evaluation plans • Identify clinical research opportunities and evaluate potential product additions or acquisitions • Attend trade shows, medical association meetings, and educational symposia • Complete special projects and administrative duties
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician within the acute care hospital environment OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician within the acute care hospital environment • 3-5 years total critical care experience in an acute care hospital environment, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in ICU, CVICU, OR, CVOR, NICU, PICU • 2+ years in team selling environment • ICU, OR, or NICU/PICU Clinical Educator or experience in education curriculum development and delivery • RN BSN, Advanced Practice Nurse NNP, DNP, Perfusionist, RRT • Experience with health care or medical device industry, either clinical education or sales • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Analytics and MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Valid driver's license • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Desire and ability to travel overnight within assigned territory and nationally when needed
