📋 Description

• Support Ear, Nose and Throat therapies through surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service and education • Represent Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring access to equipment and products, device selection, programming, implantation and testing of device systems • Provide clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics • Respond to technical inquiries from customers, patients and colleagues • Maintain working knowledge of competitive products • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products and therapies • Assist Management and Sales Training with education and training of new district employees • Complete required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools • Place customer service orders for pending purchase orders and product replacement • Work with materials management to collect purchase orders for covered cases • Manage inventory provided for case coverage • Contribute to quarterly goals tied to district and national initiatives • Partner with sales representatives to achieve territory/district business goals and document quarterly activities • Visit accounts to replenish literature and establish or maintain office-staff relationships • Use mobile phone, iPad and PC effectively • Manage personal expenses and budget effectively • Ensure understanding of applicable quality policies and systems • Follow work and quality procedures to ensure compliance and high-quality work

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum 8 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Associate’s Degree with a minimum 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Driving approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory; driving record will be reviewed • Healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation • Ability to work weekends, evenings and nights periodically • Ability to engage in overnight travel within own district or neighboring districts • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside clinical events • Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings and other training as requested • Ability to wear a 7–9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods in the operating room • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend/stoop, squat and balance frequently • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field • Preferred: Master’s degree • Preferred: Registered nurse or HCP experience in a sterile environment • Preferred: Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care • Preferred: Experience servicing medical personnel on product use • Preferred: Medical device or pharmaceutical company experience and clinical experience in a specialty area • Preferred: Understanding of basic reimbursement and healthcare environment
