📋 Description

• Perform evaluations in accordance with Title 10 CFR Part 710 • The evaluation will include the clinicians’ professional opinion regarding the individual’s mental illness or mental condition • Order and evaluate PEth and EtG laboratory tests of the individual by a certified laboratory if required • Provide a final written report within ten-days following the completion of the evaluation • Attend and provide testimony at DOE administrative review hearings if required

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Q or TS security clearance • Must be a Board-certified psychiatrist and/or licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Maryland • Must possess and maintain all required professional liability insurance or other insurance mandated by Maryland state law • Evidence of insurability must be provided to the Government • Must have 50% of their general practice devoted to treating individuals who had or have substance abuse problems • Applicant must have experience testifying at administrative or criminal proceedings • Certain positions requiring a security clearance may require the periodic successful completion of a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination • Ongoing reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal substances may be conducted as a requirement for ongoing access to DOE sites • The candidate’s written consent to conduct such tests will be required as a condition of employment.
