📋 Description

• Provide technical support to the Office of Security Operations and Programmatic Planning’s MC&A Program Implementation Support function • Support implementation of Material Control and Accountability at NNSA sites • Support standardized, risk-based MC&A programs for Category III and IV special nuclear material • Facilitate consistent, measurable, and defensible MC&A implementation • Develop an MC&A Performance Testing Working Group • Provide a technical basis for MC&A program design based on nuclear material inventories and NNSA site missions • Support modernization of LANMAS, including requirements development and software testing • Support the MC&A Program Manager with Implementing Directions, budget development and validation, regulatory compliance requirements and analyses, and the DNS In-Teach initiative • Conduct and monitor courses, schedule courses, identify course resources, update training materials, and track progress • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Active DOE Q security clearance • 10+ years’ experience supporting MC&A activities • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision • Extreme confidentiality and professionalism • Ability to prioritize, monitor, and work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field (preferred) • 15+ years’ experience supporting MC&A activities (preferred) • Willingness and ability to travel 20–30%
