📋 Description

• Provide leadership and direction for the design, testing, and implementation of complex information systems and solutions • Develop and follow project schedules, plans, and timelines • Develop, conduct, and evaluate training sessions for staff, end-users, and Information Systems staff • Participate in team projects and coordinate work assignments and problem-resolution efforts • Lead or support project management activities to deliver business-oriented solutions • Provide advanced support for operating systems and software applications • Analyze, design, build, test, implement, deploy, and maintain computer programs and systems • Translate user and department information-system needs into technical solutions • Identify application-development opportunities to enhance productivity and service levels • Establish and enforce technical development, application support, and information-management standards • Support applications in development projects and complex problem-solving efforts • Participate in a rotating after-hours application-support call schedule • Provide technical solutions and resolution alternatives for critical system issues • Prepare, conduct, and evaluate staff training and modify materials as needed • Provide courteous and effective customer service and resolve customer issues or requests • Submit weekly activity reports and inform the Manager about project and assignment status • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Manager • Promote safe, compassionate, personalized, and efficient experiences for patients, staff, visitors, and colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree and five (5) years of experience; or six (6) years of experience in lieu of degree • Six (6) years of increasingly responsible experience in large, corporate systems development and implementation activities • Experience with Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) • Experience in system design, build, testing, and implementation preferred • Experience leading projects and supporting the most complex problems • Experience directing other analysts • Demonstrated record of bringing tasks and projects to successful conclusion • Ability to mentor team members and other analysts • Exceptional communication skills • Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate information system • Comprehensive knowledge of application support, development tools, and methodologies • No licenses or certifications required • Ability to participate in rotating after-hours application support • Commitment to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, standards, mandatory/continuing education, and skills competency requirements
