📋 Description

• Review and quality-assure AI-agent rollouts in Financial Forecaster • Evaluate completed agent runs against the actual model and source documents • Verify the correct scenario, account, coordinate, basis, conclusion, and deliverable • Identify failure modes and explain why an agent succeeds or fails • Flag tasks that are too easy or can be solved without using Financial Forecaster • Refine task prompts and seeded environments to reflect authentic FP&A and lender-reporting work • Increase task realism and difficulty for capable AI agents • Update grading guidance so correct answers pass and incorrect answers fail • Detect gating failures such as wrong scenario or vintage, incorrect accounting basis, prohibited add-backs, figures not written to the model, or conclusions copied from source documents • Catch plausible but incorrect answers involving wrong grain or inconsistency with the reporting pack • Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems with Mercor, leading AI labs, and enterprises

🎯 Requirements

• Must use Financial Forecaster regularly, weekly or more, as part of current or recent work • 5+ years of professional experience in FP&A, financial reporting, technical accounting, lender reporting, treasury, or controlling • Experience as an FP&A analyst/manager, financial reporting analyst, technical accounting analyst, treasury/lender-reporting analyst, or controller • Ability to navigate Financial Forecaster multidimensional models, dimensions, account hierarchies, and cube slices • Ability to create, configure, identify, and lock scenarios, including understanding parent inheritance and forecast-of-record dates • Ability to distinguish input accounts from calculated accounts and edit formulas versus override assumption cells appropriately • Experience loading actuals and driver data through CSV imports with correct units and scales • Knowledge of scenario notes, driver notes, policy notes, planning notes, assumption change logs, and variance commentary • Ability to identify tasks involving figures or dimension members Financial Forecaster cannot produce • Ability to read scenarios, reporting packs, model coordinates, and printed figures at the correct grain • Ability to trace figures to their account, scenario, and coordinate and distinguish genuine tie-outs from coincidences • Ability to identify governing forecast vintages, locked or accepted scenarios, and applicable accounting bases • Ability to navigate account hierarchies and scenario trees to retrieve figures driving covenants, KPIs, or disclosures • Ability to detect unit, scale, period, and reconciliation errors • Ability to reconcile conflicting in-world sources and determine which governs • Knowledge of legal entity, department, segment, consolidated reporting structures, and governing documents • Knowledge of credit agreement mechanics, including frozen GAAP, test periods, fixed charge coverage, total net leverage, EBITDA add-backs and caps, funded indebtedness, borrowing bases, eligible accounts, redetermination, and compliance certificates • Knowledge of GAAP, non-GAAP, covenant measures, non-GAAP reconciliation, AICPA PFI guidance, ASC 205-40, ASC 280, SAB 99 / Topic 1M, Release 33-10751, and Reg S-K Item 303 • Sound judgment regarding correct and complete answers, including confidence to reject plausible but incorrect answers • CPA, CFA, or MBA is welcome but not required • Must be able to work as an independent contractor • Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT support
