📋 Description

• Audit Multilingual Transcription data by listening to recordings and judging whether transcriptions accurately capture spoken content • Apply fixed error codes, assign pass/fail verdicts, and write a short rationale for each judgment • Audit Forced Alignment data by verifying word-level segment timestamps and reference transcriptions • Correct inaccurate boundaries, split or merge segments, add missing segments, and remove segments containing no word • Tag every applicable error code and explain in plain language why a task passed or failed • Call out critical errors first so failure reasons are clear • Complete calibration before beginning production work

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native command of Japanese as spoken in Japan • Born and raised in a region where Japanese and this variety is dominant, or fully fluent with five or more years of residence in such a region • Strong English reading and writing • Ability to read a detailed rulebook and write clear feedback in English • Disciplined rubric application • Careful listening ability, including distinguishing similar sounds and word boundaries in continuous speech • Prior transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA experience is a strong signal • Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation work, phonetics or linguistics background, and audio editing or waveform tools experience are helpful but not required • Must complete a short calibration phase before production work begins • Independent contractor engagement • H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
