📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for revenue cycle functions across Medical Group, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health service lines • Drive system standardization across all markets, performance management, and stakeholder accountability • Standardize and optimize scheduling, registration, insurance verification, authorization, and patient financial engagement processes • Improve front-end revenue cycle performance through accurate registration and compliant patient data capture • Expand patient self-service capabilities, including online scheduling, digital registration, automated eligibility verification, patient portals, mobile check-in, and electronic payments • Increase patient financial responsibility collections through price transparency, point-of-service collections, payment plans, and patient education • Identify root causes of claim denials and registration-related rework and implement corrective action plans • Monitor registration quality, scheduling effectiveness, denial trends, patient collections, productivity, and revenue cycle performance using dashboards and analytics • Establish onboarding, orientation, training, and continuing education programs for scheduling, registration, and patient access staff • Evaluate and coach frontline associates and leaders and implement development plans • Lead cross-functional continuous improvement, process standardization, technology, and automation initiatives • Lead market-based revenue cycle subject matter experts supporting frontline associates and market leaders • Maintain working relationships with Epic, Ensemble, and other partners • Work in a matrix environment with accountability to Medical Group and Revenue Cycle leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business (required) • 7+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience, including ambulatory/professional billing operations • At least 5 years in leadership roles • Strong computer technology skills, including Microsoft suite of tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all organizational levels • Professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients • Ability to interpret and manage detailed analytical data • Strategic planning and execution • Performance improvement / Lean / process redesign • Change management and physician/practice partnership • Payer and regulatory knowledge • Contract/vendor management • Ability to influence without direct authority • Executive communication and presentation skills • Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred) • Multi-site or multi-market ambulatory revenue cycle leadership experience (preferred) • Epic and vendor-partner oversight experience (preferred) • Physician enterprise or medical group experience (preferred) • Epic familiarity (preferred)
