📋 Description

• Interact daily over the phone with patients/customers to answer questions or receive payments • Code patient visits daily • Assist team members with billing and insurance questions • Bill patient visits weekly through an employee rotation pattern • Interact daily by phone with insurance companies to resolve payment issues • File electronic insurance claims and appeals • Respond to claim denials • Work 8 hours Monday through Friday on the Billing team

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located in Kentucky or Indiana within 2 hours drive from Shepherdsville, Kentucky • Excellent verbal and written communication skills by phone or in person • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers’ Compensation insurance billing guidelines • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records • Previous experience with claims, payment posting, denials and appeals and coding • Must be able to work full days with no interruptions • High school diploma or equivalent • At least two years coding experience required • Constant periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Constant use of hands for typing • At least 50% of the day requires speaking by phone
