📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive design solutions. • Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma to communicate design intent. • Translate complex workflows into user-friendly, accessible interfaces. • Contribute to and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and documentation. • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions. • Formulate research-driven questions to support indirect user discovery when direct access is limited. • Synthesize research insights into actionable design improvements. • Design applications in alignment with Section 508 accessibility standards and best practices. • Serve as a resource for accessibility guidance across teams, including developers and testers. • Support accessibility testing, audits, and remediation efforts. • Translate accessibility requirements and findings into clear, actionable guidance. • Work within Agile teams, incorporating iterative feedback from stakeholders and developers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered and accessible design work • Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles • Demonstrated experience designing accessible interfaces and supporting Section 508 compliance • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate user needs into effective design solutions • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma • Experience working in Agile environments with iterative development cycles
