📋 Description

• Lead jobs and manage field activities • Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low-, medium-, and high-voltage power systems and power generation equipment at client sites • Repair breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, battery systems, and control panels • Conduct root cause analysis on complex electrical failures • Work with arc-resistant systems and perform field surveys • Serve as the on-site technical expert and educate clients on maintenance best practices • Communicate with customers about issues, solutions, and timelines • Partner with Engineering, Production, and Sales on service estimates and parts recommendations • Mentor junior technicians • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives • Provide emergency support during critical system outages on a rotating on-call schedule • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years working with generators, governors, regulators, switchgear, or similar power equipment • TWIC Card • Industry background in power generation, utilities, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors • Solid hands-on experience with electrical control systems • Proficiency with multimeters, hand tools, wiring equipment, and soldering • Comfortable using Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required for travel • Strong customer interaction and reporting skills • High school diploma or GED required • Ability to work 90% travel within the US and occasional international travel • Ability to work over 40 hours, including weekends or holidays, when required • Ability to move around a manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds following OSHA standards • Ability to see and hear well enough to navigate safely and communicate effectively • Preferred: Technical diploma in Industrial Electrical, Maintenance, or related field • Preferred: EGSA Certification • Preferred: PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Quantum, or Premium • Preferred: Relay programming experience with Basler, Multilin, Sepam, or Woodward • Preferred: Familiarity with Modbus, Ethernet, and Fiber Optic communication protocols • Preferred: Experience with GE, Siemens, or Woodward devices
