📋 Description

• Provide virtual music therapy services to students with a variety of needs • Conduct initial assessments to determine therapy needs and goals • Plan and deliver engaging, individualized or group virtual music therapy sessions • Use music-based interventions to support communication, motor skills, emotional regulation, and social development • Document session outcomes and progress toward goals • Collaborate with school teams, caregivers, and MIYO Health staff as needed • Contribute to IEP development and updates, when appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CB-MT) • At least 1–2 years of experience providing music therapy to children or adolescents • Reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities • Comfort using teletherapy platforms and tools for virtual engagement • Availability for approx. 4–5 hours/month, including documentation • Experience in school settings or with IEP goal alignment • Familiarity with special education processes and student services • Creative and flexible approach to remote engagement • Strong communication and collaboration skills
