📋 Description

• Negotiating and drafting agreements and contracts on behalf of the company, including commercial vendor contracts, client agreements, leases and technology licenses • Offering counsel on a variety of legal and compliance issues, including healthcare regulatory matters (especially privacy issues) • Collaborating with senior executives and departments within the company on important strategic initiatives • Researching and anticipating unique legal and healthcare regulatory/compliance issues that could impact the company • Using independent judgement to escalate important legal and compliance issues to the company's governing body

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills • Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/ commercial issues • Managed care experience is required, in particular negotiation of value-based care agreements, minimum 1-2 years of experience • General knowledge of healthcare regulatory law, in particular fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA and privacy matters, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid obligations, and corporate practice of medicine • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization across all businesses
