📋 Description

• Provide remote meeting support for legislative and Capitol meetings that are fully remote or hybrid • Work with the Audio/Video team to set up and test remote functionality before meetings • Assist legislators and public participants in joining and participating in meetings • Support assigned legislative committees based on availability and meeting schedules • Coordinate with Legislative Staff regarding remote members and public participants • Operate Zoom to maintain smooth remote participation • Serve as point of contact for committee chairs, members, staff, and participants regarding Zoom • Escalate technical questions and concerns for resolution • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved • Work with legislative staff, secretaries, and researchers to ensure meeting-room AV equipment is operational • Troubleshoot Zoom issues with Office of Legislative Information Services staff before and during meetings • Help begin and end meetings on time

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Montana • Resume required • General knowledge of computers and software • General knowledge of Zoom • General knowledge of standard office equipment • Ability to use and adapt to new features of computers, software, and standard office equipment • Ability to speak confidently in front of a video camera to a legislative committee • Ability to take direction from supervisors • Ability to work with a team • Ability to communicate and perform effectively and diplomatically with personal contacts • Ability to analyze information and make sound judgments • Experience with public meeting forums • Experience with Zoom and other video conference technology preferred • At-home computer with Windows 10 • Reliable internet capable of supporting video • Must complete employment eligibility verification through E-Verify • Must adhere to legislative decorum and rules of order
