📋 Description

• Build and own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close calendar • Prepare journal entries, lead reconciliations, and perform variance analysis • Rebuild treasury processes, including bank account structure, cash positioning, and funding draw coordination • Prepare cash reconciliations across operating and restricted accounts • Partner with development and construction teams to track project-level funding and disbursements • Contribute to the ERP implementation from requirements gathering through data migration, testing, and go-live • Redesign and automate manual processes during ERP implementation • Prepare monthly reporting packages and financial statements for leadership, investors, and board review • Maintain proactive communication with the Controller and CFO, escalating issues early with options • Support reporting deliverables for auditors, lenders, and investors • Own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, including vendor bills, pay runs, invoicing, collections, and cash applications • Support capitalization of development and construction costs • Maintain construction-in-progress schedules and validate asset classifications • Draft accounting policies and technical memos covering capitalization, ASC 842 lease accounting, and revenue recognition

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including experience in capital-intensive industries • Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor • Strong technical accounting expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting • Experience with project accounting, construction in progress, capitalization policy, and lease structures under ASC 842 • Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements • Experience preparing journal entries, leading month-end close, and performing balance-sheet reconciliations • Experience with procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and cash operations • Direct exposure to treasury or cash management • Prior involvement in an ERP implementation or systems conversion strongly preferred • Clear, proactive written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an environment without established processes • Ability to build processes • High attention to detail and strong judgment • Ability to balance rigor, speed, and practicality
