📋 Description

• Lead the people-side implementation of strategic transformation across manufacturing operations • Lead and support change initiatives linked to process improvements and ERP projects, especially standard costing • Partner with finance, operations, and systems teams to ensure costing methods are understood and applied consistently • Help operational leaders transition from legacy costing approaches to standardised cost models • Explain impacts on reporting, performance measurement, and profitability • Build local-team understanding of standard-cost creation and maintenance, including BOM accuracy, labour and machine rates, and overhead allocation • Deliver training and capability-building activities for cost awareness and accountability across production and planning teams • Link Global Process Owners, finance teams, and manufacturing sites, translating costing policy into practical D365 processes • Identify gaps in costing processes, systems, and reporting and help implement appropriate controls • Drive adoption of new ways of working and embed standard costing in decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Experience delivering change management within an industrial or manufacturing environment • Understanding and leadership of to-be processes and ways of working • Understanding and advocacy of good practices in standard costing, including cost build-up, cost drivers, variance analysis, cost updates, and margin management • Knowledge of MRP, planning, and warehousing • Experience supporting or deploying standard costing frameworks within ERP systems, especially Microsoft D365, including training, data validation, and cost centre alignment • Ability to engage finance and non-finance teams in understanding the operational impact of cost changes, cost performance, and product profitability • Proven ability to build relationships and influence frontline teams, middle management, and senior leaders • Strong communication and facilitation skills in operational and technical contexts • Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and Microsoft D365 is a strong advantage • Comfortable working at different levels of the organisation • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs • Aptitude to learn and adapt, identify change opportunities, and encourage positive change • Change Management or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is an advantage • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management or transformation, or multi-site general management roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors
