📋 Description

• Make outbound pre-service calls to patients with upcoming Mosaic Life Care services • Review estimated out-of-pocket amounts and request payment before service • Communicate previous balances and Mosaic Life Care’s Financial Assistance Policy • Discuss out-of-network and non-covered services and related patient expenses • Confirm insurance eligibility and research alternative coverage when needed • Evaluate eligibility for Mosaic’s loan financing program when patients cannot pay • Confirm and update patient registration and demographic information • Verify health insurance information for billing accuracy • De-escalate complaints about current or past-due balances • Research the Patient Accounting system to answer registration, charging, and billing questions • Meet department standards for call length and speed to answer while helping prevent abandoned calls • Perform other duties as assigned
