• Perform regular preventative maintenance on construction equipment • Respond immediately to service calls and perform repairs or maintenance as scheduled by the Equipment Coordinator or Equipment Manager • Communicate and troubleshoot service issues with the Equipment Coordinator or Equipment Manager • Collaborate with outsourced service vendors to resolve service issues • Review services performed and complete work orders using maintenance software • Confirm equipment is safe, operable, and jobsite-ready • Perform welding and burning • Complete electronic work orders and submit them daily • Work safely according to Moss Safety Guidelines and Policy • Communicate and coordinate with Asset Management Team members, jobsites, and vendors • Perform other duties as assigned • Report to the Equipment Manager
• Minimum Associates Degree in a Heavy Equipment Program • Minimum 5 Years Construction Industry Experience • Maintain DOT physical for driving a commercial service truck • CDL preferred but not required • Knowledge of equipment hydraulic systems • Ability to work on hydraulic and air braking systems • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues • Basic understanding and diagnostic ability of diesel engines • Hydraulic trouble shooting and repairs a must • Certifications or specific training in Safety, Brakes (Hydraulic and Air), Engine (Gas and Diesel), Transmissions, Troubleshooting, and Suspension Systems • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to travel to job sites in FL, GA and/or AR and stay overnight depending on current residency • Ability to work in outside conditions • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision • Ability to prioritize workload and daily activities • Ability to perform frequent physical activity indoors and outdoors • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier loads handled with assistance • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise, and extreme temperatures • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
