📋 Description

• Own the commercial and financial engine of Motive's R&D organization • Lead revenue, pricing, packaging, margin, and cost-reduction efforts across Product and Engineering • Drive revenue expansion strategy for Motive's software SKUs • Own pricing and packaging governance from analysis through launch and measurement • Define and manage R&D spend costs across devices, cellular, IoT, and software services • Own the cost data foundation behind product-level margin and COGS • Partner with product line leaders on revenue-generation and cost-reduction initiatives • Size new product lines and adjacencies, run proofs of concept, and decide whether to launch new products • Shape long-term product and company strategy using market, customer, and competitive insights • Run R&D strategy planning, business reviews, and executive reporting • Hire, build, and lead a team of strategy and operations professionals • Report to the Sr. Director of Product and work with senior leaders across the company

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in management consulting or investment banking • 5+ years of operating experience in a business operations or corporate strategy role • Advanced financial modeling skills • Ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations for executives • Track record of driving measurable business outcomes, such as revenue, margin, or cost • Proven success partnering and influencing across functions and levels without direct authority • Experience hiring, developing, and leading a team • Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations • For US-based roles, candidates may be required to execute a non-compete covenant, subject to applicable exceptions and legal requirements
