📋 Description

• Configure all supported and assigned Emergency Call Handling solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications • Perform site verification testing before cutting sites into production • Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments • Support customers and channel partners while deploying ECH solutions into production • Document solution changes, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations, during implementation • Resolve installation and quality issues in a timely and efficient manner • Participate in developing and approving Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and system upgrades • Participate in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as required • Maintain subject matter expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies • Report to the ECH Field Engineer Manager • Be accountable for system implementation according to site design, including on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology preferred • 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems • Experience with Cloud Platforms and Deployment Models, including Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud environments • Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory) • Relevant cloud certifications preferred, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals • CompTIA Network+ AND Security+ • Experience with server virtualization, specifically VMware ESXi v.6+ and/or Microsoft Hyper-V 2012+ • Experience with database servers, specifically Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2016 • Experience with server operating systems, specifically Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 • Experience with workstation operating systems, specifically Windows 7 and 10 • Experience with Linux • Experience with network switches, preferably Cisco IOS • Basic knowledge of firewalls and routers, preferably Fortinet FortiGate • Experience with server and workstation hardware • Previous experience in public safety applications deployment and integration, and/or operations and administration preferred • Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions • High School diploma, G.E.D. or Associates, and Bachelor's degree • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is unavailable • Ability to travel extensively; travel exceeds 75% and listed travel requirements are 50–75%
