📋 Description

• Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle by building and loading cost-center detail in Pigment, validating inputs, reconciling against the prior cycle, and documenting movements and drivers. • Assemble the monthly budget update, including variance to plan, drivers, and open items for budget owners and the COO. • Partner with Accounting through monthly close by tying out actuals, accruals, and forecast and resolving coding and timing issues. • Maintain position-level headcount tracking and the headcount-to-plan bridge, coordinating with People and hiring managers on start dates and backfill assumptions. • Track vendor and cloud spend, including POs, commitments, renewals, run-rate changes, and cloud-cost reporting for Core Services and consolidated Company reporting. • Apply AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve forecast, close, and reporting speed and reliability. • Support Core Services teams by answering data and reporting questions and escalating matters requiring partnership discussion. • Report to the Finance Manager, Core Services, and work closely with teams across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in business unit FP&A, corporate FP&A, strategic finance, or a comparable analytical finance role, including hands-on work through a full budget and forecast cycle with close and variance analysis. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience. • Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills; attention to formula cleanliness, auditability, and accuracy. • Experience with enterprise planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Workday, etc.) and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred). • Grounding in accounting fundamentals, including accruals and the monthly close cycle. • Familiarity with cloud cost or FinOps concepts sufficient to interpret technical-team reporting and question anomalies. • Interest in applying AI, automation, and systems thinking to recurring finance work. • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and cycle deadlines without loss of accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining variances concisely to non-finance audiences. • Ability to work across functions and distill detail into structured summaries for leaders. • Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly. • Nice to have: experience supporting technical or G&A functions in a shared-services finance environment. • Nice to have: experience building Finance automations or AI-assisted workflows, or willingness to learn. • Nice to have: experience with BI tools, SQL, Python, Power Query, or other data querying and programming languages.
