📋 Description

• Run required reports using Housing Manager or MRI software • Enter budget data into Housing Manager or MRI software • Analyze client data to prepare annual budgets for each program type • Review client data to determine the need for budget revisions • Prepare budget revisions as needed • Prepare annual operating subsidy submissions • Prepare, review, and submit VMS reports in compliance with HUD requirements and deadlines • Complete VMS reconciliations by analyzing program data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy between internal records and HUD reporting • Prepare and submit additional HUD reports and required filings accurately and on time • Maintain supporting documentation for budgets, VMS reporting, reconciliations, and HUD submissions for audit and client review • Cross-train in other departmental functions as needed • Monitor HUD guidance and pronouncements to remain current on client requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge or experience with financial and/or accounting principles • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Microsoft Teams • Ability to communicate effectively with accountants and management through oral or written communication • Ability to work independently • Ability to work under deadlines • Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities • High degree of dependability, motivation, and flexibility • High School diploma or GED • Associate's degree a plus
