• Function as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team • Support territory managers by demonstrating and conveying the value and benefits of the Animal Health portfolio • Prepare and deliver technical lectures on the product line to key customers, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizations • Offer solutions aligned with customer needs and business priorities • Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy • Meet with key opinion leaders in clinical and university settings to discuss the Animal Health portfolio and potential new business opportunities • Represent Animal Health at veterinary schools, veterinary associations, and conferences • Serve as the region’s technical expert • Evaluate regional and individual technical training needs of sales representatives • Coach sales representatives in technical selling skills • Collaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales • Serve as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics • Execute core responsibilities independently • Discuss how the Animal Health portfolio can improve veterinary customers’ medical capabilities and profitability
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree • 10 years of combined relevant experience • Minimum of 5 years in clinical companion animal veterinary practice • Minimum of 5 years in the animal health industry or equivalent leadership and/or management experience • Ability to translate complex issues into comprehensible content for respective audiences • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal customers and hospital decision makers • Ability to serve as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics • Ability to influence without direct authority • Ability to build strong internal and industry-partner networks • Ability to bring innovative solutions to internal and customer challenges • Competency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Competency in industry-relevant software such as Salesforce, Veeva, and Power BI • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams • Ability to execute core responsibilities independently • Strong understanding of veterinary customer business processes and ability to discuss improving medical capabilities and profitability • Valid driving license • Ability to travel 75% • No visa sponsorship available • Preferred: experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics • Preferred: applicable advanced degrees and research experience • Preferred: delivery of training or instruction within a structured organization • Preferred: leadership and/or management experience
